Emotional and Spiritual Support Committee

Definition

The Survivor Emotional and Spiritual Support Committee (SESSC) will serve to connect survivors with resources to support their emotional and spiritual needs as they rebuild their lives. This committee is an interfaith effort among community organizations, mental health care providers, and individuals.

Following are the primary responsibilities of the SESSC:

  • To identify existing emotional and spiritual support resources available to survivors.
  • To develop emotional and spiritual support resources for survivors.
